Cymphanie Sherman Joins KGAN Cedar Rapids As Morning Co-Anchor

Sinclair Broadcast Group’s CBS-Fox affiliate KGAN Cedar Rapids, Iowa (DMA 90) has hired Cymphanie Sherman to co-anchor CBS2 This Morning and Fox 28 Morning Live with Mitch Fick.

Sherman was born and raised in California, where she attended college at Sacramento State. There she discovered her passion for news while interning for multiple television stations.

Following graduation, Sherman moved to Humboldt County, California where she was a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor. Most recently she worked as an anchor and news reporter at WICS Springfield, Ill.

Sherman starts her new position on Jan. 6.
