Emily Wahls Named WFLD Chief Meteorologist
Fox-owned WFLD Chicago has appointed Emily Wahls chief meteorologist. Beginning Sept. 27 she will report the weather for the station’s weekday 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. newscasts.
Most recently, Wahls was chief meteorologist of WILX Lansing, Mich.
Prior to that, she spent seven years in various roles at WLNS Lansing, from fill-in meteorologist, to weekend meteorologist, then weekday morning meteorologist.
A graduate of Central Michigan University, Wahls holds a Bachelor of Science in meteorology.
