Emmanuel Esparza Named KTDO El Paso Sports Anchor

Telemundo’s KTDO El Paso, Texas, has appointed bilingual journalist Emmanuel Esparza sports anchor. He is delivering sports coverage for KTDO’s weekday newscasts at 4, 4:30, 5 and 10 p.m.

“Emmanuel is passionate and knowledgeable about our region’s sports, teams and athletes,” said Alejandro Pariente, KTDO news director. “He will be an excellent addition to our already talented team.”

Esparza joins KTDO after working as a bilingual multimedia Journalist for KVIA El Paso, where he presented daily news stories from the border. Before this, he reported on college sports while at New Mexico State University’s KRWG Las Cruces. Esparza earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from New Mexico State University.
