Executive Changes At CNBC Events

CNBC has promoted Nick Dunn to managing director and executive editor of CNBC Events, reporting to Sat Brainch, president of CNBC Business News Worldwide. Dunn will be responsible for enhancing, implementing and delivering upon the overall strategic plan for the network’s events business.

Brainch said: “Nick’s deep experience with the CNBC brand and content combined with his clear instincts for delivering engaging audience experiences will be instrumental in driving the continued growth of this business.”

Most recently, he was VP and managing editor of CNBC Business News, responsible for editorial content and guest bookings on CNBC’s Business Day programming.

Jonathan Meyers will continue to lead commercial growth for CNBC Events as SVP-GM, reporting to Dunn. In this role, Meyers will drive both the monetization and the long-term strategy of CNBC events.

With this new structure, Jonathan, Anastasia Afendikova, Dennis O’Brien and Samantha Wright will report to Dunn. Eliza Chang, Alisha Hathaway and Molly Lavin will continue to report to Meyers. Dan Colarusso will immediately begin a search for a new managing editor of CNBC Business News.
