Fox’s KCPQ-KZJO Seattle Launch 6 P.M. Weeknight News

Fox’s Seattle duopoly of KCPQ (Fox) and KZJO (MNT) have launched a 6 p.m. weeknight newscast, branded FOX 13 News at 6pm.

The hour-long show is hosted by veteran journalists David Rose and Jamie Tompkins and features multiple meteorologists and local reporters. With this addition, the stations will produce a combined 64 hours of local news each week.

In making the announcement, Sheila Oliver, SVP-general manager, said: “We are excited to enter into this important and competitive local news time period to serve the great people of Western Washington with the most important local news and information to help navigate their daily lives.”
