TVN’S NEWSTECHFORUM

Greta Van Susteren To Keynote NewsTECHForum

The cable news veteran and current host and moderator of Gray Television’s Full Court Press with Greta Van Susteren, will explore the growing complexities and polarization of political reporting in an interview at the seventh annual NewsTECHForum in December.

Longtime electronic journalist Greta Van Susteren will discuss the nexus of politics and the media in the keynote interview at TVNewsCheck’s annual NewsTECHForum on Dec. 16 at the New York Hilton.

Van Susteren, host and moderator of Gray Television’s Full Court Press with Greta Van Susteren, will explore the growing complexities and polarization of political reporting in an interview with Michael Depp, TVNewsCheck’s special projects editor.

Van Susteren is a veteran of CNN, Fox News Channel and MSNBC. She joined Gray Television in April 2019 as chief national political analyst, reporting from across the U.S. and providing stations with political analyses.

A former trial attorney, she has received numerous distinctions and awards including being named one of the most powerful women in the world by Forbes magazine, the National Headliners Award and the Sandra Day O’Connor Medal of Honor.

The interview will run from 2 to 2:45 p.m. on Dec. 16.

“Greta has been a major force in broadcast journalism for three decades, and she has interviewed a litany of U.S. and world leaders past and present,” Depp said. “Her insights into the tectonic changes happening between politicians and the press are invaluable, especially as the rules of engagement for coverage keep scrambling and we shift into one of the most polarizing U.S. elections in history.”
