Jonathan Inoa To Anchor WXTV New York’s 11 P.M. News

Univision’s WXTV New York has named Jonathan Inoa co-anchor of its Solo a Las Once (Only at Eleven) latenight newscast.

A veteran journalist with nearly three decades of experience, Inoa began his career as a teenager with a years-long stint as a local on-air radio personality in his native Dominican Republic.

He spent 14 years as a radio personality in the Tri-State area before joining NY1 Noticias in 2004 as a general assignment reporter, where he covered major breaking news stories including the failed terrorist bombing attempt in Times Square in 2010, the “Miracle on the Hudson” landing of US Airways 1549 and the Papal visits of both Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis. Inoa is a graduate of the City University of New York.

In addition to Inoa’s new role, WXTV also announced more changes to its news team. Victor Javier Solano has moved timeslots to anchor the 6pm newscast, and several new hires have joined the news team:

  • Alejandro Condis, multimedia journalist
  • Filippo Ferreti, reporter
  • Chaid Name, producer
  • Piter Ortega, multimedia journalist
