Kamie Roesler Joins WIS As Morning Co-Anchor

WIS-TV, the Gray Television-owned NBC affiliate in Columbia, S.C. (DMA 74), has hired Kamie Roesler as co-anchor of its Sunrise Morning Show.

She comes to WIS from Gray’s KSFY Sioux Falls, S.D., where she has been the morning show anchor since 2015.

A graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead, Roesler was on the university’s golf team and started her career in news as a production assistant for KVRR and interning with the school’s athletics department.

In 2018 Roesler was awarded an Eric Sevareid Award by the Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association for her live Super Bowl coverage.

Roesler will make to move south to Columbia late September and will be on-air at WIS in early October.
