KTTV, KTVU To Host Town Hall With Sen. Padilla

KTTV and KTVU, the Fox O&Os in Los Angeles and San Francisco, respectively, will co-host a Pulse of the People Town Hall with Sen. Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) on Monday, Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. PT.

Hosted by KTTV’s Elex Michaelson and KTVU’s Greg Lee, the senator will address issues such as homelessness, wildfires, COVID-19, cost of living in CA, education and more.

Pulse of the People, a series of nationwide town halls with elected official, kicked off in April in Washington, D.C. The town halls will span 11 markets, including New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Houston, San Francisco, Seattle, Detroit, and Phoenix. In addition, FOX Soul, the streaming service focused on amplifying Black voices and encouraging diverse perspectives, will host a roundtable discussion with national leaders about issues that affect urban communities.
