KWTX Ups Meteorologist Sean Bellafiore To A.M., Noon

Gray Television’s CBS affiliate KWTX Waco, Texas (DMA 89), today promoted veteran KWTX Meteorologist Sean Bellafiore to weekday morning and noon meteorologist effective July 15.

“Sean is already a seasoned member of the most trusted severe weather team in Central Texas. He’s experienced in forecasting and tracking storms whether it be on-air, on social media or out in our Weather Edge storm chasing unit,” said KWTX News Director Bob Walters.

Bellafiore, who’s been a familiar face on KWTX since 2015, joins Pete Sousa and Tiana Maya on KWTX News 10 This Morning and Julie Hays on Midday with Julie.

Bellafiore graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in telecommunication and a Meteorology and Climatology Certificate and then earned a master’s degree from Mississippi State University in geoscience/applied meteorology.
