LX News, NBCUniversal Local’s TV and streaming network for younger audiences, will deliver comprehensive news, analysis and reporting covering the midterm elections, highlighted by the live LXtion 2022 special on Tuesday, Nov. 8, beginning at 6 p.m. ET and continuing through the night as results are reported and key storylines unfold.

The live election-night coverage will be led by political editor Noah Pransky from the LX News studios in Fort Worth, Texas. He’ll be joined by LX News’ team of storytellers and contributors, who will report live from battleground states and other locations, including Mackenzie Behm from Pennsylvania, Cody Broadway in Arizona, Chase Cain in Florida, Ngozi Ekeledo in New York, Jalyn Henderson in Wisconsin, Keith Kocinski in Pennsylvania and Eric Rodriguez in Florida.

The LXtion 2022 coverage will provide the context and perspectives surrounding the most important election- and voting-related issues and examine the factors and trends shaping the top races and results. Key storylines expected to be featured include turnout among young voters, disinformation in the electorate, Hispanic and independent voters and the issues that motivate their choices at the polls, and the reason some people stayed home or switched their party-line votes.
