Marc Istook Joining WFAA As Co-Anchor
Tegna ABC affiliate WFAA Dallas (DMA 5) has named Marc Istook to co-anchor Daybreak. He is scheduled to assume his new role this summer.
He joins WFAA from the NFL Network, where he has worked as a host and anchor over the past five years.
Istook will join the Daybreak team of co-anchor Kara Sewell, meteorologist Greg Fields and traffic anchor Demetria Obilor.
Istook began his career at KTEN Ada, Okla, anchoring sports and news. In 2001, he moved to Los Angeles where he has covered news, technology and sports for BBC, ABC.com, Yahoo and other media outlets.
