Meteorologist Jeff Edmondson Returns To WAVY

Nexstar’s NBC affiliate WAVY Norfolk, Va. (DMA 44), is welcoming meteorologist Jeff Edmondson back. He left the Super Doppler 10 Weather Team in the winter of 2015.

Edmondson is a seasoned forecaster, having spent considerable time covering Nor’easters, tornadoes and in 2012, Hurricane Sandy. Additionally, in 2014 he received the American Meteorological Society Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal.

Edmondson returns on Wednesday, Jan. 30, making his debut on WAVY News 10 at 4 p.m. He will forecast Wednesday through Friday at 4 p.m. and on WAVY News 10 at 7 p.m. on co-owned WVBT Virginia Beach as well as weekend evenings on WAVY News 10 at 6 p.m.,  WAVY News 10 at 10 p.m. on WVBT and on WAVY News 10 at 11 p.m.
