Michelle Rotella Joins Accuweather

Michelle Rotella, an AMS certified meteorologist joins the AccuWeather Network team as a senior broadcast meteorologist.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in meteorology with a minor in math from Florida State University and she obtained her CBM from the American Meteorological Society in 2016.

Rotella spent the last 12 years forecasting for television stations, including WNEP Scranton, Pa.; WTXL Tallahassee, Fla.; WCCB Charlotte, N.C.; and WTTG Washington. She’s tracked major hurricanes, floods, blizzards, and other severe weather phenomenon.

Rotella will be based at the AccuWeather Headquarters in State College, Pa.
