Peabody Awards Ceremony In L.A. Postponed

Peabody Awards Executive Director Jeffrey P. Jones made the following announcement today:

“I hope this message finds you safe and well during this difficult time. I appreciate a moment of your time to provide you with an update on this year’s Peabody Awards.

“Our annual Peabody Awards ceremony, previously scheduled for June 18 in Los Angeles, is postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The safety of guests, staff, and partners involved with our annual event remains a top priority.

“Also, as you may be aware, the Peabody Board traditionally judges entries and selects winners through multiple in-person meetings. We are currently evaluating our timeline for nominations and winners announcements, and will let you know as soon as we have a revised schedule.

“Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate these extraordinary circumstances.”
