Reporter Jennifer Eagan Joins WCVB Boston

Jennifer Eagan will join Hearst’s ABC affiliate WCVB Boston (DMA 10) as a general assignment reporter on Monday, Oct. 22. Eagan has been a reporter in New England for more than a decade.

Eagan joins WCVB from WHDH Boston where she was a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor for more than five years. Before that, she worked at New England Cable News where she was a reporter and fill-in anchor.

Eagan has covered many locally and nationally significant stories throughout her career including the return of James “Whitey” Bulger to Boston after his arrest, a story that captured the first video of the renowned mob boss in decades.

She has earned two Emmy Award nominations, first for her coverage of the arrest of a hospital worker in New Hampshire who was accused of infecting patients with Hepatitis C and second for a feature story on Honor Flight New England.

Eagan received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College.
