Samantha Myers Joins WPTA As Morning Co-Anchor

Quincy Media’s ABC affiliate WPTA Fort Wayne, Ind. (DMA 110) has hiredSamantha Myers to be co- anchor of its weekday morning news.

The Detroit-area native most recently was a reporter in Indianapolis for WTTV-WXIN.

Prior to that, Myers was a reporter for KCRG TV in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Myers began her career at KOMU TV in Columbia, Mo., while enrolled in the broadcast journalism program at the University of Missouri. She is a 2016 graduate of the university’s esteemed journalism school.

Myers joins anchor Kayla Stewart, meteorologist Nick Marusiak and morning show reporter Jeff Bowman on ABC21 Morning News, which airs from 4:30 to 7 a.m. She is expected to debut in mid-to-late February.
