Retiring WFTV-Channel 9 anchor Martie Salt will be Greg Warmoth’s guest on “Central Florida Spotlight.”

Salt’s final broadcasts will be noon and 6 p.m. Friday on the ABC affiliate. Both newscasts will salute her, but “Central Florida Spotlight” will devote a full half-hour to her at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

Salt reviews her celebrity interviews from the 1980s and 1990s. She spoke with Lucille Ball, Oprah Winfrey, Dolly Parton and evangelist Billy Graham. Salt reflects on the TV business, her career at WFTV and the major stories she covered. She also discusses her anchoring philosophy, her most rewarding work and her plans for retirement.

Patricia Brigham, president of the League of Women Voters of Florida, will be Justin Warmoth’s guest on “The Weekly on ClickOrlando.com at 8 a.m. Sunday on WKMG-Channel 6. They discuss a proposed constitutional amendment called All Voters Vote, which would open up Florida’s primary elections to the state’s 3.7 million independent voters. Florida is one of nine states that has closed primary elections. Brigham will explain the proposal’s details, why the League of Women Voters is in favor of open primaries and what it could mean for future elections if Florida voters pass the measure in 2020.

“Political Connections” recaps the latest on the impeachment proceedings at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday on Spectrum News 13. State Rep. Adam Hattersley, D-Riverview, talks about his run for U.S. House District 15. PolitiFact Truth-O-Meter rates a claim made by Joe Gruters, Florida GOP chairman, on healthcare.

“In Focus with Allison Walker-Torres” features Florida Lt. Gov. Jeanette Núñez at 11:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Sunday on Spectrum News 13. She will discuss initiatives regarding domestic violence, education and healthcare.

“NewsNight” looks at the official report into the death of a TSA agent at Orlando International Airport. The program airs at 8:30 p.m. Friday on WUCF TV. Host Nancy Alvarez of WFTV welcomes Beth Kassab and Naseem Miller of the Orlando Sentinel and Matthew Peddie of 90.7 WMFE. They discuss plans to introduce hundreds of electric scooters on Orlando’s streets. They also explore healthcare issues, including Gov. Ron DeSantis’ push to allow prescription drug imports from Canada, and the boom in Central Florida’s medical industry.
