WPMT Adds Naomi Morales As News Director

Tegna-owned Fox affiliate WPMT Harrisburg-Lebanon-Lancaster-York, Pa. (DMA 47), has named Naomi Morales news director, effective September 14th, 2020.

Morales joins from WCAU Philadelphia where she was executive producer. In that role, was in charge the three-hour morning show and everything that goes along with a program with a significant digital component.

Prior to her 11 years in Philadelphia, Moralesn gained producing experience at Bay News 9 Tampa and WTVJ Miami.

“Naomi has a proven track record of building a newsroom with a collaborative approach while also developing talent. She has references that are beyond reproach and speak to her leadership skills for the type of team we have built at FOX43,” said Chris Topf, WPMT president and general manager. “As a whole, the team is thrilled to have someone of Naomi’s background and history of success leading the charge.”
