WRTV Welcomes Megan Shinn To ‘Good Morning Indiana’

Scripps-owned ABC affiliate WRTV Indianapolis has added Megan Shinn to its Good Morning Indiana team. She joins Rafael Sánchez and Lauren Casey, along with meteorologist Todd Klaassen. The newscast airs weekdays from 4:30 to 7 a.m. on WRTV and WRTV.com and is streamed live on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV and Android TV.

Shinn’s first day at WRTV will be Dec. 14. She will be integrated into the Good Morning Indiana mix beginning the week of Dec. 21.

Shinn is an Emmy award-winning journalist whose career has taken her from coast to coast. Born in Iowa and raised in Denver, she spent three years at WVEC Norfolk, Va., where she worked as a “Jane of all trades” and morning reporter, covering a variety of stories from breaking news to military homecomings.

Prior to living on the east coast, Shinn worked as a weekend anchor, weather forecaster, and weekday reporter at KMTR Eugene, Ore.

Her passion for news took off in Southern California, where she earned a BFA in television broadcast journalism from Chapman University. During college, she interned at KNBC and KCBS-KCAL in Los Angeles as well as ESPN3.
