WSVN Miami Ups Ethan Calloway To Weekday Morning Co-Anchor

Sunbeam Television’s Fox affiliate WSVN Miami has promoted Ethan Calloway to co-anchor of Today in Florida, its weekday morning news block that airs from 5 to 10 a.m.

Calloway joined WSVN in October 2018 as the anchor for the Today in Florida Weekend Edition, coming from WJXT Jacksonville, Fla., where he covered the devastation from several hurricanes including Irma and Matthew.

Calloway will join anchors Vanessa Borge and Alex De Armas, along with meteorologist Vivian Gonzalez, a trio of South Florida natives, beginning October 8. He replaces Diana Diaz who is leaving WSVN to pursue other interests.

WSVN will also expand Today in Florida’s Sunday Edition, by adding an extra hour from 7 to 8 a.m., beginning Oct. 3. With this news expansion, WSVN will now produce more than 68 hours of live news and local programming each week.
