WTAE Announces New Weekend Anchor Team
Hearst-owned ABC affiliate WTAE Pittsburgh (DMA 24) has promoted Brittany Hoke to weekend evening anchor and hired Alex Alecci as weekend evening meteorologist.
Hoke has been a reporter for WTAE in its Westmoreland County bureau since June 2017. In her newly expanded assignment she joins co-anchor Ryan Recker weekend evenings starting Oct. 29.
Alex Alecci comes to WTAE from KDLT in Sioux Falls, S.D., he was chief meteorologist. He earned his BS in meteorology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is a FAA licensed pilot.
