WTTG Adds Blake McCoy To News Staff

Blake McCoy has joined Fox-owned WTTG Washington (DMA 6) as an anchor and reporter for various station newscasts, effective March 18.

Most recently, McCoy was an NBC News correspondent in Chicago. Prior to that, he held reporter and anchor positions with KARE Minneapolis and KTNV Las Vegas.

Before that, he was an anchor and reporter for KBCI Boise, Idaho, and GW-TV, George Washington University’s television station.

McCoy said: “I attended college in D.C. and it has always been my dream to return. I’m thrilled to join the Fox 5 team to continue their work serving this community and am excited to officially make this city home.”

A graduate of George Washington University, McCoy holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in journalism and political science.
