WXIN Indianapolis Hires Veteran Investigative Reporter Steve Brown

Nexstar Fox affiliate WXIN Indianapolis has hired veteran investigative reporter Steve Brown to join its journalism team.

Brown has spent years as an investigative reporter, both for WGRZ Buffalo, N.Y., and as a Fox News correspondent in Chicago. He’s earned many awards for his work, including six regional Edward R. Murrow awards and a national Murrow award.

“I am grateful to have spent my entire adult life in journalism,” said Brown. “It is a genuine thrill to join the Fox59 team and begin my investigative work In Indianapolis. This is such a tremendous opportunity. I have already begun the phone calls and making contracts. I cannot wait to begin serving the great people of this community.”

“Steve Brown has the skills and passion for journalism that make him an outstanding addition to our Fox59 Newsroom,” said CJ Hoyt, news director. “His experience in digging into documents, interviewing political leaders and uncovering the truth will bring valuable information to the viewers of Indianapolis and Central Indiana.”

Brown attended Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y.
