Yaimeé Bell Joins KBLR Las Vegas As Multimedia Journalist

Telemundo-owned KBLR Las Vegas has named Yaimeé Bell a multimedia journalist for Noticiero Telemundo Las Vegas on weekdays at 5, 5:30, 6 and 11 p.m. Her on-air debut will be on Monday, April 5.

“We are happy to welcome Yaimeé to the Noticiero Telemundo Las Vegas team,” said Ramiro Lopez, president and general manager of Telemundo Las Vegas. “Besides being an extraordinary journalist, she is breaking barriers as the only Afro-Latina reporter in Spanish language television in Nevada.”

Bell joins Telemundo Las Vegas after working with Univision Communications in Miami as a digital journalist since 2020. Previously, she was in Univision’s Student Training Employment Program, known as STEP. Before this, Bell was a reporter for South Florida Media Network from 2018 to 2019. In addition, she held various positions in media in her native country Cuba.

Bell has a master’s degree in Spanish multimedia journalism. She received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Universidad Oriente in Cuba.
