John Zaccario Named President Of GSN

John Zaccario today was appointed president of GSN, effective immediately. Zaccario, who was previously GSN’s executive vice president, ad sales, succeeds Mark Feldman, who has left the company to join Scopely upon the sale of the GSN Games business, which was completed this week.

Zaccario’s responsibilities include the running of Game Show Network, a cable network of nearly 70-million subscribers, its production arm, Game Show Enterprises, gameshownetwork.com, getTV, Sony Movies, Sony Cine and the distribution of the Game Show Network and Sony libraries via FAST Channels. GSN is owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment, a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Sony Group Corp.

Zaccario joined Game Show Network in 2008 as executive vice president of advertising sales. In this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing sales efforts for Game Show Network’s media properties, including the cable television network, the GSN Games Network online and GSN’s social and mobile applications.  During his tenure, Zaccario additionally served as the chief marketing officer in 2017.

BRAND CONNECTIONS

Prior to joining Game Show Network, Zaccario was vice president, ESPN Digital Media Sales and Marketing, where he oversaw the sales and marketing efforts for ESPN.com, ESPN 360, Mobile and ITV. Additional responsibilities also included emerging media sales and efforts associated with the launch of ESPN HD and ESPN’s video game division.

Before joining ESPN, Zaccario held advertising sales posts at ABC Entertainment, ABC News, Raycom Sports and Katz Television.

Zaccario is a board member of the Video Advertising Bureau and graduated from Colgate University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.
