ASG Partners With Ross Video For Real-Time Graphics Creation Within Virtual Production Control Room

Advanced Systems Group (ASG), a solutions provider for media creatives and content owners, today announced it has partnered with Ross Video to provide real-time motion graphics for ASG’s new Virtual Production Control Room (VPCR). Ross Video’s XPression real-time motion graphics generation system integrates seamlessly within the VPCR remote production service, ASG says.

With the XPression graphics platform, users can produce real-time motion graphics content that integrates into all workflows and supports dynamic live production, such as Augmented Reality and Virtual Studios, news, sports, entertainment, house of worship and corporate events. XPression uses intelligent caching for instantaneous access to content that prevents lag between keyboard entry and system operation. XPression software handles all video signals and is resolution independent. Multiple configurations of XPression are available for all types of applications.

Powered by Google Cloud or AWS, the VPCR remote production service allows real-time, broadcast-quality coverage of live events and other programming. It requires no on-prem services to deliver secure, cost-effective content complete with video switching, effects, multi-channel audio, graphics, and captions. The system also supports major videoconferencing applications with multiple live participants.
