Law&Crime Launches On Samsung TV Plus In Canada

Law&Crime, the legal and true crime network, is now available on Samsung TV Plus in Canada, joining The Roku Channel and River TV as partners providing access to the network for Canadian viewers.

Along with original true crime programming, Law&Crime features multiple live trials daily along with expert legal analysis and commentary. The network is in the midst of ongoing live coverage of the murder trial of real estate heir Robert Durst while also providing gavel-to-gavel coverage of two additional high-profile trials in recent weeks — SC v. Nathaniel Rowland and CO v. Mark Redwine. The network also hosts an expanding roster of original programs, most recently the launch of the weekly series Coptales with Sgt. Sean “Sticks” Larkin.

“Our momentum in Canada has already produced some terrific highlights and results as our brand and content continues to resonate strongly with Canadian viewers” said Alex Kopacz, head of content distribution and licensing at Law&Crime. “Samsung has done an incredible job with the expansion of its Samsung TV Plus service and we’re confident that Law&Crime will become a valuable addition to their channel lineup in Canada”

The Law&Crime Samsung launch in Canada follows the network’s availability on Samsung TV Plus in the U.S. The Roku Channel added Law&Crime carriage, in addition to the U.S., to its Canada expansion back in May. And, River TV, Canada’s first vMVPD, which recently added the CBC channel roster to its core bundle, has offered Law&Crime in its select U.S. channel package since the service’s inception in 2020.
