NATAS PRESENTS BUSINESS REPORTING EMMYS

CBS, CNN and NBC receive two awards each and PBS gets one at ceremony Thursday in New York.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences today announced the winners of the Fourth Annual Emmy Awards for Business & Financial Reporting in a luncheon ceremony at the Rainbow Room in New York City.

Emmy Awards were presented in seven categories and recognize outstanding achievement in business and financial reporting telecast from July 1, 2005, through June 30, 2006.

CBS, CNN and NBC won two awards each and PBS won one.

In addition, the Lifetime Achievement Award in Business & Financial Reporting was presented to Paul Steiger, managing editor of The Wall Street Journal, overseeing U.S. and international print and online editions, and vice president of Dow Jones & Co.
