Debmar-Mercury names two new sales VPs

Syndicator Debmar-Mercury has hired Darren Doyle and James Kramer as vice presidents of Sales. Doyle is based in New York and will target the Eastern Region and Kramer will focus on the Western Region from Los Angeles.

Doyle joins Debmar-Mercury from CBS Paramount Television where he was vice president, Eastern regional manager responsible for sales and distribution for Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown, Montel Williams, Becker, Girlfriends and Frasier. Previously, he was a division manager at Paramount Pictures Television and prior to that, he worked at Creek & River of America as a manager and at Fremantle Media as a Northeast division manager.

Kramer joins the company from CBS King World Productions where he was division manager selling first-run and off-network programming to stations throughout the western United States and successfully negotiating long-term renewals for The Oprah Winfrey Show, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy. Prior to that he was vice president, affiliate relations at The WB and manager, Southwestern sales of domestic television distribution at Warner Bros.
