11th Fall Season Of ‘George To The Rescue’ Kicks Off Sept. 19 On NBC O&Os

The Emmy-winning home improvement series George to the Rescue returns for an 11th fall season on Saturday, Sept. 19, on NBC-owned stations (check local listings). Produced by LX.TV, the in-house production team for NBC Owned Television Stations, the series “will continue its legacy of highlighting how the power of home renovation can bring communities together and make life-changing impacts on families who may be facing life’s biggest trials.”

George to the Rescue launched in 2010, with more than 120 episodes airing to date. The series features George Oliphant and his team of contractors and designers taking on perplexing home improvement projects for families facing their own personal challenges within their homes and their daily lives that they can’t address on their own. In each episode, Oliphant and his team create life-changing, dramatic home transformations that develop before audiences’ eyes.

At the end of each episode, Oliphant and his team join with neighbors and the community to welcome the families home to their newly renovated spaces.

Marni Sabia, VP, lifestyle production for LX.TV, said: “This was the most challenging — and the most meaningful George to the Rescue season to date. Our projects were completed during the COVID pandemic and required a different approach, including social distancing, the use of PPE and other steps to ensure the health and safety of each project team.

“Through it all, George never missed a beat — leading impactful and often life-changing projects that improved the lives of so many families and communities. We cannot wait to share these heart-warming stories with our viewers this fall.”
