‘21 Jump Street’ And ‘Wiseguy’ Join Retro TV Lineup

Diginet Retro TV has added the iconic Johnny Depp series 21 Jump Street and American crime drama Wiseguy to its lineup, with both series starting their runs on the network on Dec. 26.

21 Jump Street revolves around the cases of an undercover police unit composed of young-looking officers specializing in youth crime and is credited for jumpstarting Johnny Depp’s career. The series also featured notable guest stars like Josh Brolin, Jada Pinkett Smith, Brad Pitt, Christina Applegate, Vince Vaughn, and more.

Wiseguy starred Ken Wahl as titular character “Vinnie Terranova,” an agent with the Organized Crime Bureau infiltrating dangerous criminal organizations, struggling to remain true to himself while becoming close to the criminal leaders he is sworn to bring down. Wahl departed the series and was replaced by Steven Bauer. The series also starred Jim Byrns and Jonathan Banks, who is now most known for his performance in the critically acclaimed Breaking Bad.

“As a big fan of television, we are thrilled to be able to bring these groundbreaking series to Retro TV viewers,” says Retro TV President Joel Wertman.

21 Jump Street will air on Retro TV Mondays through Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Viewers will be able to watch Wiseguy Monday through Fridays at 7 p.m. ET/PT. A separate run of Wiseguy will also air on Saturday and Sunday at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
