Allen Media’s ‘Mathis Court’ Set To Launch With Over 90% U.S. Clearance

Host Judge Greg Mathis will actively partner with TV stations to provide legal commentary and insights to current news stories when the new show debuts this fall.

First-run syndicated programming supplier Allen Media Group says it has reached more than 90% U.S. distribution for its eighth and newest court series Mathis Court with Judge Mathis. The new court series is a daily one-hour strip for fall 2023, available to broadcast TV stations.

In less than a month, Mathis Court with Judge Mathis has secured clearances with stations from television groups including: Nexstar (including WPIX New York), Tegna, Weigel, Scripps, Hearst, Gray, Cox Media Group, Woods Communications, Cunningham, Griffin, Coastal Broadcasting, Cowles Company, Lockwood, Graham, Lilly, Corridor Television, American Spirit and Allen Media Group Television.

Integral to the launch of Mathis Court with Judge Mathis will be Judge Greg Mathis himself, a former judge of Michigan’s 36th District Court. Mathis will make himself available to news departments of station partners to offer his legal commentary pertaining to locally significant and newsworthy legal cases. This promotional campaign by Mathis is part of AMG’s commitment to publicize Mathis Court with Judge Mathis exclusively in broadcast TV markets across the country, and, it says, “providing this content will add value and give local newscasts more connection with prominent national and regional stories.”

“We at Allen Media Group are proud to add Mathis Court with Judge Mathis to our amazing portfolio of court shows,” said Byron Allen, founder/chairman/CEO of Allen Media Group. “Judge Greg Mathis is an outstanding, charismatic, and iconic television host, and we are extremely confident that our eighth and newest court series with Judge Mathis will be very successful for years to come.”
