CMG adds Telemundo affiliates in Jacksonville, Fla., and Seattle and also renews its contract with the Hispanic network in Charlotte, N.C.
Cox Media Group Grows Relationship With Telemundo
Cox Media Group said today that it has signed a deal to become Telemundo affiliates in Seattle and Jacksonville, Fla.
In Seattle, Telemundo will be carried on ch. 7.2 of KIRO, and in Jacksonville, it will be on WJAX’s ch. 47.2)
The company also renewed its agreement with Telemundo in Charlotte, N.C., where the network is offered on a subchannel of its WSOC.
“CMG is excited to grow our relationship with Telemundo to provide a wide array of important programming to underserved Hispanic audiences in Jacksonville and Seattle,” said Paul Curran, CMG’s EVP of TV. “Our Telemundo affiliate in Charlotte has been a tremendous success. Bringing on these two new markets fits perfectly with our mission to inform, entertain and elevate the viewers and communities we serve.”
