Defy TV Launches On WDBD Jackson Subchannel

American Spirit Media’s Fox affiliate WDBD Jackson, Miss., has added the new Scripps diginet Defy TV. This new network on ch. 40.5 joins WDBD’s roster of multicast offerings that include Justice on ch. 40.4, Grit on ch. 40.3 and Antenna TV on ch. 40.2 for viewers using antennas.

The station said: “We are proud to offer another source of entertaining programming to our viewers, particularly those in homes that can’t afford the luxury of cable or streaming subscriptions. These subchannels come into homes at no cost to the viewers.”

Defy TV programming includes Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Forged in Fire, The Curse of the Oak Island and Alone. Geared to male audiences, Defy TV is a part of the Scripps Networks national portfolio that includes Bounce, Court TV, Court TV Mystery, Grit, Laff, Ion and TrueReal.
