WEEKLY SYNDICATION RATINGS ROUNDUP

‘Family Feud’ Gets Fired Up

In the week ending June 26, it grows 2% and snatches back first place among games and syndication overall with a 5.0.

Family Feud heated up 2% to a 5.0 live-plus-same-day national Nielsen rating as summer began in the session ending June 26, and took over the lead among game shows and all of syndication. Jeopardy, which had been in front for the prior two weeks, dipped 2% to a second-place 4.9.

In other game show news, Wheel of Fortune followed with a flat 4.3, You Bet Your Life lost 13% to a 0.7 and 25 Words or Less dropped 14% to a 0.6.

In daytime, programs on network affiliates had their ratings largely destroyed after running into tons of preemptions for the Jan. 6 Capitol riot hearings and breaking news from the Supreme Court.

Live with Kelly and Ryan, which was almost entirely in repeats, took over sole possession of the top talk show spot despite slipping 7% to a new season low 1.4.

Right behind were reruns of a heavily preempted Dr. Phil which fell 13% to a new season low 1.3.

The sole morning or afternoon strip above a 1.0 rating managing an upward move was breakout courtroom hit Hot Bench, which barreled ahead 8% to a 1.3. That was second only to law of the land Judge Judy, which gave back 7% to a daytime-best 4.1.
