Free New Year’s Eve Feed From Times Square

The co-organizers of the famous Ball Drop — The Times Square Alliance and Countdown Entertainment — are once again offering HD satellite and fiber feeds of the celebration from Times Square in New York.

The clean, uninterrupted feeds with no bug or logo are available free of charge to domestic and international media organizations. They feature exclusive, panoramic views from proprietary camera locations with the ambient and natural sounds of the revelers, showcasing the lighting and raising of the famous New Year’s Ball, hourly countdowns, musical performances by 2019 Grammy nominee Bebe Rexha (Meant to Be, Me, Myself & I, I’m a Mess and John Lennon’s Imagine) and alt-pop band lovelytheband (Broken, These Are My Friends And Maybe, I’m Afraid), as well as the famous Ball Drop at midnight.

Satellite coordinate/fiber feed information for the live, New Year’s Eve celebration on Dec. 31 and downloadable pre-New Year’s Eve footage, featuring behind-the-scenes preparations for the festivities including this week’s Numeral Arrival, Crystal Installation on Dec. 27, Confetti Test on Dec. 29 and Ball Test and Balloon Preparation on Dec. 30, is available online here.

The event organizers have also partnered with Livestream once again to offer an international, six-hour webcast of the event. Times Square New Year’s Eve host Allison Hagendorf and street correspondents Andrea Boehlke and Jeremy Hassel will cover the action in Times Square, including the hourly countdowns, ball raising ceremony, stage performances and special guests.

This webcast is being made available for media outlets, webmasters and bloggers to embed on their own websites.

Additional details and embedding details are available here.
