WEEKLY SYNDICATION RATINGS ROUNDUP

‘Jeopardy’ Continues Game Show Leadership

With guest host Ken Jennings filling in for the late Alex Trebek, it advanced 2% to a 6.1 in the week ending Feb.7, one of a very few syndicated shows to post a week-to-week increase.

Daily Mail TV delivered an 11-week high and the biggest increase among all syndicated strips in an otherwise quiet session ending Feb. 7 in which dramatic moves were few and far between. Mail was the only gainer among the top five magazines, posting a 17% advance to a 0.7 live-plus-same-day national Nielsen rating and matching its best showing of the season.

Elsewhere in access, Jeopardy edged up 2% to a 6.1 and held onto the game show lead for a fourth straight week with guest host Ken Jennings filling in for the late Alex Trebek.

Next in line, Wheel of Fortune was flat at a 5.8 while Family Feud dipped 5% to a 5.5.

In daytime developments, the top three talkers held steady. Live with Kelly and Ryan remained on top for the 11th week in a row (including two ties) with a 2.0. Dr. Phil was a close second at a 1.9 and Maury was a distant third with an unchanged 1.1. After that, Ellen DeGeneres declined 9% to a 1.0.

Among court shows, Judge Judy and Hot Bench continued to rule, with Judy decimating daytime at a firm 5.7 and Bench barreling ahead 6% to an eight-week high 1.8.

The top talk shows for the week among women 25-54 were:
