WEEKLY SYNDICATION RATINGS ROUNDUP

‘Judy’ And ‘Jeopardy’ Back On Top

Judge Judy climbed 3% to a strong 6.1 live-plus-same-day national Nielsen rating, its best showing since the week ending May 10, and outperformed everything on the chart including programs in the more heavily viewed access time period. Jeopardy was next with a second-place 5.9.

Judge Judy was the ratings star in the session ending Nov. 22, scoring a new season high and overtaking the prior week’s champ, Jeopardy, to lead all of syndication.

Despite being primarily a daytime show, Judy climbed 3% to a strong 6.1 live-plus-same-day national Nielsen rating, its best showing since the week ending May 10, and outperformed everything on the chart including programs in the more heavily viewed access time period.

Jeopardy, in the second week following the death of its beloved host Alex Trebek, slipped 2% to a second-place 5.9 after topping the syndication standings in the previous round.

Usual game show winner Family Feud was next, forging ahead 2% to a 5.7.

Back in daytime, Dr. Phil finished first in the talk show race, holding steady at its season-high 2.0.

Live with Kelly and Ryan took a 5% breather after racing to a new high in the prior frame, but still landed right behind Dr. Phil at a 1.9.

BRAND CONNECTIONS

In a tight battle for third place were Ellen DeGeneres, which declined 8% to a 1.1, and highly regarded sophomore Kelly Clarkson, which held its ground at its season high 1.0.

Further back, conflict talker Maury slid 10% to a 0.9, landing in a tie with an unchanged Rachel Ray and Wendy Williams, which gave back 10% after hitting a new season high the week before.
