‘Pac-12 Insider’ Launching On Local Now

Pac-12 Networks is introducing Pac-12 Insider on Local Now, Allen Media Group’s free streaming service.

Through Local Now, viewers have 24/7 access to unique content across all genres from local news and sporting events to other premium entertainment channels at zero cost. With this latest partnership, Local Now expands into collegiate sports with Pac-12 content.

Pac-12 Insider offers fans free access to select live events, the latest football highlights and re-airs from the past season, basketball encores and classics from other top sports across the Conference of Champions, and in-depth, behind-the-scenes stories on Pac-12 student-athletes, coaches and legends.

“We continue to see a growing appetite for collegiate sports across the streaming provider space and are excited to offer Pac-12 Insider to Local Now’s millions of viewers,” said Henry Watson, Pac-12 Networks vice president of distribution. “With a host of new programming in the works for Pac-12 Insider, we’re excited to be the first and only Pac-12 sports content provider in Local Now’s growing library.”

Starting in June, Pac-12 Insider will feature new looks at some of the Pac-12’s most memorable and storied football games, including “The Play” from 1982 between California and Stanford, 1994’s Washington at Oregon game nicknamed “The Pick,” and all-time classics from 2007, featuring Stanford’s massive upset of then-No. 2 USC as well the unforgettable California win over Tennessee featuring DeSean Jackson’s 77-yard punt return touchdown.

Additionally, Pac-12 Insider will celebrate the U.S. Open returning to Torrey Pines in San Diego for the first time since former Stanford star Tiger Woods’ epic victory with an exclusive look back at historic Pac-12 Golf Championships and collegiate performances from current PGA Tour stars, including Jon Rahm (Arizona State) Maverick McNealy (Stanford) and Collin Morikawa (California).
