Rachael Ray To Air Shows From Her Kitchen

Beginning Monday, she will welcome viewers into her home kitchen for an hour of new recipes made with pantry staples, solutions for cooking dilemmas and bit of fun as she’s joined by her husband, John Cusimano.

Rachael Ray will broadcast two all-new episodes next week, shot from Ray’s home kitchen in upstate New York.

As millions of people are staying home and cooking more, and with in-studio production on her daytime show halted for the time being, she will Rachael welcome viewers into her own kitchen for an hour of new recipes made with pantry staples, solutions for cooking dilemmas and fun as she’s joined by her husband, John Cusimano.

The new episodes will air Monday, April 6, and Friday, April 10, with more to come in the weeks ahead.

“This is a weird time, right? I can’t say there’s a silver lining; that’s just a wild exaggeration,” Ray says on Monday’s show. “But there are found moments every day, and this is our found moment, for myself, John, and [our dog] Isaboo, that we get to share our home and some time with our viewers.”

Monday’s episode features three new chickpea recipes, including homemade hummus and Rachael’s twist on a classic Italian pasta dish. Ray also answers viewers’ questions about pantry cooking from social media, plus John mixes up a cocktail and shares a pre-recorded musical performance with members of his band, The Cringe.

On Friday, Ray will share three new recipe ideas for canned tuna and answer more viewer cooking dilemmas, and HGTV’s Crafty Lumberjacks will share at-home DIY crafts for Easter.

BRAND CONNECTIONS

Going forward, the show will continue to air new episodes shot from Ray’s upstate home, as well as other new episodes that were previously recorded in front of a studio audience prior to the coronavirus outbreak.
