Hope in the Wild follows Hope Swinimer, a wildlife rehabilitation expert, and her team as they rescue and heal injured and orphaned animals of all kinds. Hope’s passion for wildlife conservation shines through everything she does to lead her team on their mission to care for and return each animal to the wild.

The network said the CBS Dream Team Saturday morning lineup is a “diverse, family-friendly schedule featuring compelling shows and stories of hope and compassion designed to enlighten, teach and inspire viewers to make a greater commitment to themselves, their families and their communities.”

The block is FCC educational/informational compliant, targeted to 13-16-year-olds.

The gist of this statement; ‘no matter what the FCC does with E/I, you’re still carrying our programming as long as we throw money at you, networks. Signed, Litton Entertainment; the only company that takes this E/I thing seriously.’

I wish the FCC would get rid of this stupid E/I rule. Nobody watches this Litton/Hearst crap anyway. I want the cartoons to return to Saturday Mornings!

I happened to catch a little bit of this last weekend on another channel and if this is targeted to 13-16 year olds, the advertising sure doesn’t reflect it – all of it is aimed toward people 55+. Do teenagers generally buy life insurance or vitamin supplements? I’m all for positive programming, but yeesh.
