Tamron Hall Talker Top 70%, Adds Geddie As EP

In addition to the previously announced ABC Owned Television Stations Group and Hearst Television stations, the show has been licensed to stations from broadcast groups for fall, including Cox, Sinclair, Scripps, Meredith, Tribune, Gray and Nexstar.

Walt Disney Direct-to-Consumer and International said Tuesday that its new syndicated daytime talk show hosted by Tamron Hall has tallied clearances of over 70% of the U.S.

Also, Disney announced that veteran producer Bill Geddie has been tapped as the show’s executive producer.

In addition to the previously announced ABC Owned Television Stations Group and Hearst Television stations, the show has been licensed to stations from broadcast groups for fall 2019, including Cox Media Group, Sinclair Broadcast Group, The E.W. Scripps Co., Meredith Corp., Tribune Broadcasting, Gray Television and Nexstar Media Group.

Bill Geddie has one of the most successful track records in the business. He co-created ABC’s live talk and entertainment program The View, serving as the show’s executive producer for 17 years. Under Geddie’s leadership, the show broke new ground in the genre.
