The Heartland Network Adds Dallas To Distribution

After having recently expanded to Salt Lake City, Utah, The Heartland Network has now launched in Dallas, over-the-air on KFWD, ch. 52.2.

Heartland is a 24/7 digital broadcast network that airs all things country music and lifestyle entertainment, consisting of original programming, syndicated and first run shows, as well as digitally restored vintage content from the vaults of Music Row. The diginet’s network’s footprint now reaches 54 million households in 59 markets.

KFWD is a full-powered station operated by RNN Media Group, which owns 10 stations that cover more than 28% of households within eight of the top-10 DMAs and their total reach exceeds 86 million over-the-air viewers.

“We are excited to be on the air in Dallas!” says Joel Wertman, president of The Heartland Network. “RNN has been great to work with thus far, and having a full-powered station in a market where people will love and embrace The Heart of Country is an amazing opportunity.”

RNN’s Chief Operating Officer Christian J. French said: “It’s a thrill to be partnering with The Heartland Network. The brand and programming truly a stand out from other diginets and is the perfect fit for KWFD and Dallas.”
