With No Olympics, ‘Access Hollywood’ Climbs Triple Digits

In the week ending Feb. 27, the entertainment magazine show shot up 100% from the prior week, moving up three slots and adding more than 600,000 viewers each day.

Among talk shows, Dr. Phil came roaring back with a 13% spike to a 1.7, tying a steady Live with Kelly and Ryan for first place in the genre.

Ellen DeGeneres and Kelly Clarkson were on fire, with both racing into a tie at No. 3. Ellen doubled its target demo as it surged 29% in households and Kelly leapt 13%.

Elsewhere in daytime, Judge Judy and its offspring Hot Bench dominated the court shows with the Judy juggernaut jumping 7% to a 4.8 and Bench banging out a 7% improvement to a 1.5.
