Gray Television’s WWAX-LD Hartford, Conn., says it’s expanding its live sports coverage with the addition of UConn’s women’s soccer, men’s soccer, and women’s volleyball games this fall. Building on the successful partnership between Gray’s WFSB and WWAX that began last year, this new programming initiative, Gray says, “will elevate the viewing experience for UConn fans across the state.”

WFSB and its sister station, WWAX, are an official partner of UConn Athletics. The season starts with a UConn Football Season Preview Show on Friday, Aug. 30, at 7

p.m. on WFSB. WFSB will broadcast the UConn football home opener vs. Merrimack on Sat., Sept. 7,, at noon.

WWAX is available on Comcast chs. 931 and 1166, Cox ch. 19, Frontier ch. 27, Altice ch. 113, Spectrum ch. 795, over the air on chs. 27 & 3.4. You can also watch on YouTube TV.
