Kyle Krebs Tapped As GM For Fox Affiliate WHBQ

The addition of Krebs further bolsters the leadership team as Imagicomm continues to build its broadcast presence in the U.S., according to a company statement.

Imagicomm Communications today announced industry veteran, Kyle Krebs has been named General Manager of FOX13 in Memphis, Tennessee. The addition of Krebs further bolsters the leadership team as Imagicomm continues to build its broadcast presence in the U.S., according to a company statement. The announcement comes from Becky Swan, SVP of Broadcast Television, Local Markets.

“Kyle is a seasoned 35 -year media professional with more than 32 years in key management roles,” said Swan. “He joins WHBQ from Nexstar Media Group’s WIAT in Birmingham, Alabama where he served as General Sales Manager. Kyle is a community champion and the right leader for our Memphis station. I could not be more pleased he has chosen to join the Imagicomm Communications family!”

Dale Ardizzone, Chief Operating Officer of Imagicomm Communications, echoed Swan ’s sentiment.

“Kyle’s experience, passion and commitment to community involvement made him an ideal for this position,” said Ardizzone. “He embodies the principles and integrity the citizens of Memphis need and should expect from those who deliver local news.”

Over the course of his extensive career, Kyle has served in a variety of leadership positions including General Manager, General Sales Manager, and Sales Manager with leading media groups in all size markets including Nexstar, NBCUniversal, Bonten Media, Salem Media, FOX Broadcasting, and Allbritton Communications. Kyle has a Bachelor of Science in Radio and Television from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He began his career in 1987 as an Account Executive with Belo Broadcasting’s WFAA-TV in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX. In addition, Kyle has been involved in local communities serving on boards and as a volunteer for the United Way, Boy Scouts of America Local Councils, the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary. Kyle and his wife Carol have been married for more than 33 years and have three grown children.
