Perkins Coie Adds Eric Greenberg To Tech Practice

Perkins Coie has hired Eric D. Greenberg to the law firm’s Technology Transactions & Privacy practice as a partner in the Washington office.

Greenberg has built a practice focused on complex and innovative transactions and advisory matters across the telecom, media and technology sectors. He frequently advises clients on regulatory actions before the FCC, including transactions related to FCC spectrum licensing as well as other innovative regulatory and deal strategies. He also dedicates his practice to advising large financial institutions on media investments, in addition to more traditional M&A, private equity and strategic investment work.

“Eric’s expertise will further enhance the firm’s already strong FCC practice and our ability to manage innovative transactions for clients across the telecom, media and technology sectors,” said Marcelo Halpern, co-chair of Perkins Coie’s Technology Transactions & Privacy practice. “From providing counsel on spectrum auctions to complex broadcast media transactions, financings and M&A, Eric has a truly impressive background and we’re excited he is joining Perkins Coie.”

In addition to his private practice, Greenberg served in the Office of Legal Counsel at the Department of Justice and was a law clerk for the Honorable Harold H. Greene of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

Greenberg has received numerous accolades and recognitions during his career that include being named by Chambers USA as a leading lawyer in Telecom, Broadcast & Satellite each year since 2006 and as a leading lawyer in Media & Entertainment every year since 2015.

He received his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and his B.A. from Tufts University.
