Brainstorm Cancels Its Participation In NAB 2021

The company says it will not exhibit at NAB for the first time in its history due to the current situation over COVID-19.

Brainstorm, a Madrid-based manufacturer of real-time 3D graphics and virtual studio solutions, today pulled out of next month’s NAB Show in Las Vegas.

Brainstorm said it “appreciates the enormous efforts that the NAB committee has made to ensure a safe show, however, we must face the fact that the situation in the wider world is outside of their control. Social distancing and other health and safety measures although very effective still leave us open and vulnerable.

“It is with great regret that we announce this decision not to attend NAB 2021, but the safety of our staff, customers and partners is the driving force behind our decision, despite our strong appetite to share our announcements with customers, channels and tech collaborators. We have exhibited at NAB since 1995 with great success and as members of NAB we are very much looking forward to exhibiting at NAB 2022” said Ricardo Montesa, the company’s CEO and founder.

Brainstorm added that it is “already beginning to work on its participation at NAB 2022, in the hope that it will represent the return of a great NAB show.”
