Grass Valley Expands Its Alliance Partners Community

Grass Valley today announced the expansion of its Alliance Partners community “to deliver solutions that meet the evolving needs of the media and entertainment industry.

Leveraging the Agile Media Processing Platform (AMPP), an open platform for media production, Alliance Partners have access to every feature and function available to almost 100 GV native applications. For customers, familiar and trusted products can be offered on the AMPP platform. Existing workflows can be replicated with minimal disruption and a seamless transition minimizes disruption and maintains a consistent brand image.

“One of the key aspects of the Grass Valley Media Universe is providing an open platform that can be shared by the industry,” says Louis Hernandez Jr., Grass Valley CEO. “By bringing these leading companies together in the GV Alliance, we enable greater efficiency in developing applications, we reduce deployment cost for our customers, we create a collaboration that makes things better for the entire industry.”

GV says the Alliance “is expanding rapidly and is receiving overwhelming interest. This year, Grass Valley hosted 16 Alliance Partners at its NAB Show booth, showing a range of products making their own, unique contributions to production workflows.” With 50 already signed, and a rapidly growing cohort of future partners, every area of production is represented, the company says: signal contribution, distribution, graphics, communications, storage, networking, configuration, control and many more.

Looking to the future, Grass Valley invites new partners in any area of media production, to partners who wish to provide complete hosted solutions based on the Grass Valley Technology Alliance.
